    Tig Aluminum Problems

I picked up a Primeweld 225X to weld aluminum and thin steel. I have watched several videos on setting up this machine. For some reason I cannot weld with it. DC conversion for AC stick welder

Has anyone done the conversion on an old AC stick welder to DC? My brother in law just did one with a 300 amp bridge rectifier. Cost him about $20. I would like to do my Miller Thunderbolt and be able to change it back to AC. Anyone else do this conversion?

    Mig Welding 3/8 steel

    Vintage Bike Muffler Repair

I compete in Vintage motorcycle trials, I ride a 1980 SWM TL320 (Rotax powered). My muffler started rattling, one of the baffles came loose. New mufflers are nonexistent so I cut it open with my Primeweld plasma cutter and welded it with my Hobart 210MVP. Came out better than I thought.

    Motorcycle Lift Stand

I built a motorcycle lift stand from an old car jack. I welded a socket so I can use my cordless drill to raise and lower. I’m using it as it is but eventually I’ll weld a bigger plate to the top.
