DIY tractor snow blade

I needed a snow blade to augment my snow duties.
I had an old steel workbench top (about 3/32" thick) and cut to the shape I wanted.
Took it to a shop and they formed the curve I desired.
I welded angle at top, and bottom and made the 'fish bones' to re enforce the curve.
A bit of bracketry and springs for my trip blade made it functional.
I added a drop down 'back blade' to be able to pull snow back from doors etc.
You can see by the paint wear that it is very much a working tool.
In the photo you observe my FEL arms are there, that is because a chain is linked my blade for lifting.
LOL, the KISS principal, but it works just great.
Not in evidence is a sub frame DIY for my blade attachement.
Seasonal changeover is a mere 1/2 - 3/4 hr.

Converted all of my tractors to the SQAA bobcat quick attach. Built a box plow with blades on the top of the box and the bottom. you dump the blade all the way and use the top to pull from the doors far enough to get behind it. I'll get pictures soon.

Looks real good. Maybe you found your calling. Making snow blades all summer and relaxing all winter in the Caribbean

I did make the subframe that is attached to my tractor frame.
The first design included a manual angling feature but the damage it was creating to my front wheels so I reconfigured to a 'pusher'.
Blade lifting is accomplished via a drop down chain that is attached to the FEL cross bar.
LOL, I did not wish to get involved with valves hoses and pumps, mind U for a private drive the setup works jut fine.

Much nicer and functional than mine. I bought for very cheap, an old rear grader blade sitting in a field and welded up some cracks, old welds etc. Repainted and replaced the steel edge with a rubber one. It gets the job done, gives me lots of angle adjustments (all manual) but needs to be taller like yours AND I have been thinking about how to mount it on the front.
One thing I did have to do later was get longer bolts and reinstall the original metal edge over top of the rubber one to give it more support, especially for back dragging. It also added some needed weight. There is about 2 inches of rubber showing below the metal edge.
