Ron -- Rustic here from St. Augustine. Your closing statement touched me so... In candor, I was always encouraged by my Dad to the point of letting me build a stock car and weld my own roll bars. When I was launched over the fence in turn two, I remember turning off the ignition, hunching down in my seat and thinking: "I hope those roll bars hold..." They did. Carry on and sincere best wishes.
PM me an address and I'll send you some filler metals.

The welding site forum on Tapatalk is acting up so I went online to see if was under construction or something. Just now realized I had a pm.

I've been using 5356 and 4043 in ¹/¹⁶" & ⅛" and have some er70s6 from Tinmantech I used with my o/a setup. The flap discs you sent me are phenomenal! The first one I pulled from the box is still going strong.

Sorry, I meant 1/16" and 3/32" aluminum filler...
I posted some photos in a couple of threads using the Welcote wire in my Titanium 170 Mig . I like it. It welds so smooth with very little spatter and hardly any sparks thrown off like the Vulcan wire does. I was using 19.2 volts and 300 IPM wire speed.
Retired. Built some implements for use around the property for a sub-compact tractor. I have a stick AC unit and oxyacetylene. I built a PTO power broom, rear ballast, chain harrow frame and working on rear pallet forks.

The 6013 rods I use, don't have 7018 rods, but I have 7014. What would be the difference in the two rods ?

Hi Muhammad

I see with your new forums, you are using the XenForo software. Another tractor site that I mod/admin on went to it a few months ago. Over there, we have the option of a dark mode background. Have to thought of using that? I find it much easier on my old eyes...lol. Just a suggestion
Also, are you thinking of changing TBN over to XenForo?

Love the welding forum,

Harry

Yes we could add that option. I'll look into it!
