What have you built this year?

I have a 2017 F450 and had a hard time finding a place to mount my CB antenna. I decided to use my front receiver that I bought for bikes. I didn't like the bikes on the front so this was a perfect mounting platform for me. I like to have a little more communication when on the road. Someday I...

What have you built this year?

I added an extension cord holder for the heavy 50 amp line in our 5th wheel. I padded the arms with carpet and wiretied it on. I taped a couple holes to bolt the holder to the frame. I now use it to store 110 extension cords as well. It is a tight area and making the most of every inch. A welder...

What have you built this year?

I converted a small battery compartment in our RV into storage. I moved the AGM batteries into the main storage area where they are next to the converter / charger. The storage is much larger than the battery area. Too bad it was not built this way to start so all 4 batteries could have been...

When I was ready to retire I bought a Millermatic 211 and a plasma cutter. I had watched others weld in the shop of the pulp mill where I worked for years and it has turned out to be a great hobby. I ran across a fellow selling a metal bender and a load of steel after his get rich quick scheme...

What have you built this year?

I built a pinbox receiver for our 5th wheel so I could attach a bike rack to the front of our RV. It works great if you have a long bed truck and enough clearance. Some bike racks work better than others. I made an adapter to put a flag in the receiver when we do not have our bikes.
