Since my CUT wears a heated cab I needed to fashion a chute rotation device.
As luck had it I had an ATV 2000 lb winch from a yard sale find.
Bit of welding for a bracket and a spring loaded DPDT switch and , presto. Remote chute rotation.
Now this is on its 4 th winter without any problems.
The plastic drain pipe and cap is to protect from the elements and it has proven itself.
I drilled a small hole mid center of the winch drum to feed the wire cable thru.
This has been flawless to date.
Actually enough power to free the chute from ice accumulation. (well 2000 lbs is quite enough power)
